Delivery Policy
1. General information
All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is out of stock at the time you place your order, the item will be backordered and delivered as soon as it is available. If the item is going to be out of stock for a period longer than CBS feels is reasonable, CBS will contact you to let you know the availability and see if you wish to cancel your order.
2. Delivery Times
CBS makes every effort to deliver your products at a time that is convenient for you, with as little disruption to your business as possible. We require a minimum 2 hour window when someone will be there to check and receive your delivery. However, all delivery times are estimates and not a guarantee of when your delivery will arrive. Other delays may occur, or force majeure circumstances for which we are not responsible.
3. Delivery Schedule
CBS observes the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. The holiday will be observed on the weekday on which it falls, or on the preceding Friday, if it falls on a Saturday, or the following Monday, if it falls on a Sunday. CBS’ office and warehouse will be closed for these days and no deliveries will be made. Orders placed on these holidays will be delivered on the second business day following the holiday.
Charlotte delivery is next business day following order acceptance by CBS. Delivery outside Charlotte is the next scheduled delivery day to geographic area following order acceptance by CBS. All orders are delivered on CBS delivery vehicles unless prior arrangement has been made. Some specialty items may require additional time or handling. Special deliveries can be arranged, including shipment by common courier with all shipping costs invoiced to you. Scheduled delivery dates are shown below. This delivery schedule is subject to change without notice and is not binding on CBS.
4. Order Cutoff Times
Any orders placed online via our website by 5PM (EST) will be delivered on the next scheduled day per geographic area. All requested delivery orders must be a minimum of fifty dollars ($50.00) before taxes and applicable fees. Should the minimum requirement of fifty dollars ($50.00) not be met, the order will not be processed.
5. Delivery Costs
All orders that meet the minimum order amount for delivery ($50.00) and are under two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) will be subject to a three dollar ($3.00) delivery charge. Any order exceeding the two hundred and fifty dollar ($250.00) threshold and delivered on a CBS delivery truck will qualify for free delivery. Any order shipped by common courier will bear shipping and handling costs and be billed to you on your order.
Return Policy
CBS maintains a lenient return policy because 100% customer satisfaction is our goal. With the exception of food products, any item purchased from CBS can be returned for refund, or exchanged on an equal-value basis, provided that the products are in their original packaging, all manufacturers’ notices concerning shelf life, storage methods, and other instructions pertaining to the proper storage and maintenance of the product have been observed, and the product is in saleable condition. All returns must be within thirty (30) days of purchase unless otherwise stated and agreed upon by CBS.
The preceding conditions do not apply to goods damaged upon delivery. Any goods damaged during the delivery process can be refused and returned at the time of delivery and the appropriate deductions made to the invoice. Any undiscovered damage must be reported within 48 hours or the damage will be deemed to have occurred after the delivery process and be your responsibility.
